Kathleen's intake process is thorough for a reason. We know and love that you come with a completely unique set of physical, mental & emotional needs, barriers, motivations, values, expectations, preferences, fears, and scheduling limitations. Because progress & fulfillment in fitness depends so much on how well our goals align with our own unique circumstances, working with you to develop & achieve your own meaningful, realistic & truly rewarding goals is an ongoing process at the heart of Kathleen's service.
No experience required. People sometimes feel that they need to 'get fitter' before seeing a personal trainer, and we'd like to shatter this stigma to pieces. We build ourselves up on progress, not on the pursuit of perfection. Kathleen takes great care to ensure that you receive training that is accessible, meaningful and relevent to you and your body, as it is today. Come as you are; we always start there.
Kathleen dedicates much of her time to learning novel and effective strategies for reintigrating healthy movement patterns and minimizing chronic pain. During your first session(s), you'll undergo a thorough and gentle range of motion assessment. From there, the amount of time we'll spend on movement rehabilation will depend on your chronic pain profile (if any), goals & preferences.
Kathleen will provide you with ongoing support & communication throughout the week - even daily, if desired! Many of our clients will recieve relevent & accessible fitness and/or mobility-related 'homework' to help them reach their goals. Cranberry Fitness Co. cares deeply about building community & giving back. You'll be invited to attend group activities & fundraisers to connect with others in our community and support each other's active living goals.
This is a complimentary and optional service included in all full service packages. Kathleen can help you make progressive & realistic changes to your diet that compliment your current eating habits, lifestyle, preferences, & fitness goals.
